Baking with Fauve!

I'm baaack, haha and we're making brownies!

Today I'm going to double the recipe because it's my mom's birthday and it's to give at her job. I'm going to write the amount you guy's will need but just remember mine is going to look like more because it is okay haha. Let's get started!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ingredients :

200g Sugar
75g Flour
60g Cacao Powder
3 eggs
170g Butter
125g dark chocolate
A pinch of salt
15x30 baking form

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You guys go and get your ingredients we're about to do this together and were doing it in steps, let's get down to business!

1. Pre heat the oven at 180°C (356°f)

2. Mix sugar, flour and cacao powder together.

3. Melt the butter and add it to the dry mix you just made.

4. Now add the eggs and salt in until everything is turned into a smooth mixture (mine wasn't that smooth so you might want to
sieve the cacao powder).

5. Cut the chocolate in to pieces and add it to the mixture.

6. Butter up your baking form and put the mixture in to it.

7. Bake the brownies for about 25-30min and then check with a stick to see if it's ready. I'm a paranoid baker today because I want to be perfect so I put it in for 20min then check if it's dry. Mine was dry after 20min so I turned the oven off and let it in for another
5min, if yours is not ready let it in and check it every 5min,
because in my oven everything takes less time and yours might need a bit more.

8. Now let it cool down and then you can cut it and serve the brownies. (Mine are in a box, for my mom her colleagues at work!)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The only thing left to do is to enjoy your brownies with you friends, colleagues, family or just by yourself (not all at once haha). Hope you enjoyed baking today and I 'll see you soon with a new blog! Go ahead and follow me on bloglovin' or by email, google+, ect if you want to have updates when I post!

Film Photography ♡

Hi!
Today I wanted to talk about photography! More about film photography because I've got a new camera! Well not really new. It was one of my dad's camera's he bought when he was younger which he gave to me now because I'm in to photography. It's a praktica super TL2. When I received it a couple of years ago I was actually not in to it as much anymore, but now that I got back into it with my digital camera, I decided to take a look in the box again and boy o boy was I glad. There are a couple of things in it but this one camera looked so cool! I just had to use it, but how? It's an old camera and my dad was at work and I wanted to know how to use is ASAP! What do you do when you want to learn? Youtube! I searched and found, not the camera that I have but other old camera's which pretty much is almost the same way to use. I noted down everything I needed to know searched some more info and then the only thing I needed was new film.

The film that was in the box was overtime since.. 1988! 29 years overtime, older then me haha! I couldn't find anything online that said that it was fine to use and my dad said : "You can try but the pics might not develop right." so I went to the store to buy some new once. How I chose the new ones? Again I went on youtube to see some vids. I didn't want to get anything to expensive so I watched a video that compared the cheaper once and I was doubting between the kodak color plus 200 & agfa vista 200. To be honest I doubted between those 2 but before that I was thinking to get kodak gold 200 and then I was doubting to get kodak portra 400 and lomography 400. Just because I saw 2 vids that compared the two 400 ones and I wanted them as well but I thought for startes let's just try a cheaper one. On Monday I went to a shop and I couldn't find any of them :(. They only had one pack of 3 film rolls left so I could've been patient and waited to search further on Tuesday but I already had my camera with me and we were going to the beach to take pictures so I thought "Let's just take this one and see, the pictures might turn out good." and that's what I did. The film roll that I went for is the fujifilm superia color 200 and it was about €10 for three rolls.

I was shooting with a standard lens, the camera did have a zoom lens but when my cousin was younger my dad let him choose what he wanted and I think he took an old camera and the zoom lens. Now I think I'm gonna ask it back because he is a busy person now anyways, still busy with movie's/video's and photography professionally now so I think I can get it back, well I hope so anyways. My dad also has filters for on the lens and I only found one of them and I haven't taken pics with it yet but I put it on and watched trough the lens and it looked cool! If you want to keep an eye out for my pictures go check out my instagram (fauve.c.photos) where I will be posting these film pictures on, as well as my digital pictures.

Yesterday, so last week Wednesday for you reading this, I brought in the film roll and it takes 5 workdays until I get them back so that had to be about this week on Wednesday. I went on Wednesday and they weren't in yet.. I'm so excited and impatient to see them, I just want to know if they worked out good, if they look good ect. *UPDATE ; It's now Friday and I've got them, some of them came out great and some of them didn't. How the color is on the pictures, isn't my favorite but it's fine they do still look good. It was about €6,50 to develop them and print them, I did my at Hema. I'll probably post them next week on my instagram.* I honestly still love taking pictures with my digital camera because I have a zoom lens, I can see the pictures immediately, I don't have to think to much about the shots because can get a lot of shots on it and delete the bad ones. Yeah so I still love it but with a film camera it's just cooler and the vibe is different as well, you need to get that good shot, you can't check, if I have the zoom lens back I could get even cooler shots I bet, a wide lens could be cool as well, you have to check everything yourself you have to make a bigger effort. It's new for me and I love learning so I'm having so much fun with this. Even if the pictures don't come out good, I'll still work on it until it's the way I like it.
